England Call Up Donald and Crocombe for Sri Lanka White-Ball Series as Salt, Bethell and Curran Ruled Out

England have included fresh names in their white-ball setup ahead of the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.

New Faces Join the Squad

Donald and Crocombe are the two players who have received call-ups for the limited-overs matches.

The selectors have turned to these players to fill the gaps created by the absence of established members of the white-ball group.

Three regular members of the England white-ball side will not feature in the three T20Is and three ODIs.

Salt is sidelined with a quadriceps concern and will miss the entire tour.

Bethell has been ruled out due to a knee issue that requires time away from the field.

Curran is also unavailable after picking up a groin injury.

The white-ball programme consists of three T20 Internationals followed by three One-Day Internationals against Sri Lanka.

All six matches will take place without the services of the three injured players.

The call-ups of Donald and Crocombe therefore become important for maintaining squad depth across both formats during the tour.
