Ex-Prem star’s daughter dubbed ‘most beautiful girl’ wows at Paris Fashion Week

Thylane Blondeau has surpassed the fame of her father as a leading model – despite him once playing in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old, who was dubbed the 'most beautiful girl in the world' by Vogue when she was a child, has moved into runway modelling which has taken her around the world. From New York and London to Barcelona, Thylane is currently back in France for Paris Fashion Week.

Thylane has been seen at the Miu Miu womenswear show during the biggest annual event in fashion, where she took up a seat on the front row. Earlier in the week she was seen at the Casablanca show, no doubt with the support of her father.

Thylane is the eldest child of former France international defender Patrick Blondeau, who had an extended professional career that ran between 1987 and 2005. A right-back, Blondeau is best known in England for his short-lived spell at Sheffield Wednesday following a £1.8million move from Monaco.

Things didn't go to plan with only six appearances in the division and just a single win, but he did manage to register an assist. He later spent time at Watford after leaving Marseille, helping them to a 14th place finish in the second tier, retiring at US Creteil.

Thylane was the first of two kids to be born during the marriage of Patrick to fashion designer Veronika Loubry, alongside brother Ayrton, which came to an end back in 2016. Veronika has a huge Instagram following of her own with 200,000 fans, often posting snaps of her children.

Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.

£22 a month

Thylane's first modelling stint came aged just four on the runway with Jean Paul Gaultier. She became a star in 2007 after topping TC Candler's coveted annual 100 Most Beautiful Faces list. She has since been the face of Dolce & Gabbana and L’Oreal among other world famous brands, with Paris Fashion Week glad of her attendance.
