Where they fused my ankle, I have absolutely zero issue whatsoever,&#8217; Woods said Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That pain is completely gone. It\u00b4s the other areas that have been compensated for.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Woods also compared it with when he had fusion surgery on his lower back. He said the L5 and S1 vertebrae were fine.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/07\/21\/77520743-0-FILE_Tiger_Woods_lines_up_a_putt_on_the_16th_hole_during_the_wea-a-16_1699392688328.jpg\" height=\"422\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tiger Woods has revealed that he no longer feels pain in his ankle after undergoing surgery<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/07\/21\/77525923-0-image-a-18_1699393561083.jpg\" height=\"403\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Woods has not played competitively since he withdrew from the Masters Tournament in April<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;But all the surrounding areas is where I had all my problems and I still do,&#8217; he said. &#8216;So you fix one, others have to become more hypermobile to get around it, and it can lead to some issues.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it doesn\u00b4t take much for Woods to get everybody&#8217;s attention about when he might play again.<\/p>\n<p>Two years ago, he posted a video of one swing and two words &#8211; &#8216;Making progress&#8217; &#8211; that eventually led to him playing the PNC Championship with his son, Charlie, just 10 months after his car crash outside of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>This time all he did was walk.<\/p>\n<p>Woods caddied for his son at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship, and various video footage showed him walking and carrying the bag. This was a week after Stewart Cink said in a Golf Channel interview that Woods told him he had starting practicing.<\/p>\n<p>For what remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I\u00b4m pretty sore after caddying for four days,&#8217; Woods said. &#8216;It was a flat course, thank God.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Woods announced 19 players for the 20-man field at his Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas the week after Thanksgiving.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/07\/21\/77525609-0-image-a-17_1699393233778.jpg\" height=\"624\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>He was seen caddying for his son\u00a0at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship<\/p>\n<p>Because it is sanctioned by the PGA Tour, that would require 72 holes of walking. Still, one spot remains open and the tournament host is exempt.<\/p>\n<p>More likely is the PNC Championship, which Woods and 14-year-old Charlie have played the last two years. That is sanctioned by the PGA Tour Champions, meaning carts are allowed. Woods has used a cart both times.<\/p>\n<p>Woods hasn&#8217;t played since he withdrew at the Masters after the frigid third round.
