Grand National runners: Full list of the 40-runner field and prices

Frankie Dettori announces retirement as horse racing legend confirms farewell plans

Corach Rambler heads a field of 40 for the Grand National on Saturday, in what is sure to be another thriller of a renewal. The Scottish-trained gelding has been popular among punters since winning back-to-back Ultimas at Cheltenham, and he looks bred for a true stamina test over the bigger obstacles.

Though the National is known for springing an upset, as shown by last year’s race when 50/1 shot Noble Yeats sauntered clear under Sam Waley-Cohen. The seven-year-old bids for a famous double on Saturday, though he has to contend with a 20lb rise in the weights.

Elsewhere, Irish trainers Gordon Elliott and Willie Mullins both hold strong hands as they look to have their say at the finish. Express Sport takes you through the list of runners and riders for the 2023 Grand National with their prices, at the time of writing – as provided by William Hill…
