Having emerged from his most challenging week yet as Chelsea manager with a win over Southampton, Thomas Tuchel is now taking steps to boost the Blues’ analysis department.
Tuchel’s side were defeated by both Manchester City and Juventus in the space of four days, with the Blues failing to score a goal in either game.
But as has been the way for Chelsea since the German took charge, they quickly got back on track with a comfortable win over Southampton on Saturday.
Tuchel has revamped many areas of Chelsea since replacing Frank Lampard as manager, turning them into Premier League title contenders.
And after improving their fortunes on the pitch, Tuchel is now understood to be taking steps to maintain his high standards.
According to The Sun, Tuchel is planning to install Big Brother-style cameras at the club’s Cobham training ground.
The report states that the German wants to put up eight pole-mounted cameras to film his training sessions.
It is said that these cameras will monitor training sessions for teams throughout the club, including the senior side, the women’s team and the academy groups.

The Blues have already applied for planning permission to put up the technology, a process they have to go through because Cobham is on green belt land.
It is stated that planners from Elmbridge Council will make a decision on the planning permission later this month.
According to the papers that Chelsea have filed, they believe the cameras will enable coaching staff to deliver “more thorough feedback” to players.
“The club is now seeking to enhance its facilities through installing cameras around several of the pitches, which will enable coaches to provide more thorough feedback,” planning agent Nancy Stuart said.

“Technology has been playing a bigger role in coaching in a wide range of sports in recent years.
Installing cameras at Cobham will allow training sessions to be recorded from a range of angles and heights. It is considered that this solution is preferable to the use of drones.
“The scheme will use leading camera and software technology to route back into the office for immediate analysis.”
