Harry Kane is reportedly open to joining Manchester United this summer as Tottenham’s fall from grace continues under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho. The England international, currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, is apparently considering his future.
According to Goal, Kane would be open to moving to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
And one of the reasons given for the 26-year-old’s decision to jump ship is he wants to challenge for the Premier League title.
Kane believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be able to turn the Red Devils into serious contenders if he is heavily backed this summer.
And he supposedly wants to be part of the ‘extensive rebuild’ project.
The second reason is Kane wants to have another shot at winning the Champions League – where he lost in last year’s final against Liverpool.
Spurs are seventh in the Premier League table – five points outside of the top four – so could miss out on Champions League football next term.
Kane is desperate to continue competing in Europe’s top competition.
Meanwhile, football pundit Alejandro Moreno reckons the striker must leave north London to fulfil his true potential.
“I’m just going to tell you from the perspective on the outside looking in,” Moreno told ESPN FC.

“Not [from a] Spurs fan, not a hardcore Spurs guy who wants Harry Kane to stay there for life, I’m just thinking about I’m seeing who this player is and who this player can be in a different setting.
“And I’m saying it would be best for Harry Kane to fully maximise his potential as a player, to fully maximise his potential not only on the field but his presence worldwide to go elsewhere. That’s all I’m saying.
“Now, does that mean he is leaving Spurs? Probably not because it’s a guy that seems to be very comfortable there and very cosy and cuddly.
“That’s fine, and a player who’s comfortable and cosy and cuddly usually delivers out on the field because there is a joy and happiness that comes with that.
“I’m just merely suggesting that there could be offers out for them and teams that could put his profile at a different level.”
United are expected to spend big when the transfer window reopens and they will look to bring in several players.
Jack Grealish and James Maddison are being considered to partner Bruno Fernandes in central midfield.
Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is also being lined up in a blockbuster £100million move.
