Tottenham are already plotting four transfers ahead of the summer, despite not knowing who their manager will be for the 2023-24 campaign. Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique and Mauricio Pochettino have all been linked with the vacancy and whoever takes on the project already has a shopping list waiting for their arrival.
According to Football.London, Spurs have already acknowledged that they are keen to strengthen in all departments following an inconsistent campaign so far.
Daniel Levy is keen to bring in at least four stars over the summer in a bid to continue his spending spree, having acquired numerous players in the previous window under Antonio Conte – most of which have underwhelmed in north London for differing reasons.
A priority for Tottenham is said to be signing a successor for club captain Hugo Lloris, who has struggled with injuries this season and looks like a shadow of his former self. Everton’s Jordan Pickford and Brentford shot-stopper David Raya are among the considerations for Tottenham, with the latter also attracting interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

Spurs are also in the market for at least one more defensive reinforcement in the summer, though two signings is certainly an option on the cards. The likes of Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rodon and Japhet Tanganga could all be offloaded if deemed surplus to requirements by the new manager, with Tottenham’s current crop of centre-backs not instilling confidence.
Tottenham are also looking to bring in a playmaker in the centre of the park to provide flexibility in formations, with James Maddison of Leicester City identified as a key target if the price – potentially £50million – is right. The England international is capable of playing as a No 10 as well as a central midfielder, providing much-needed creativity and flair in an area that is starved of attacking prowess at Spurs currently.

Levy is also looking to bring in at least one more forward over the summer, though a complete overhaul could be on the cards in the final third given that Harry Kane is being heavily linked with a move away to United. The No 9 is still Spurs’ sole focal point up top despite Richarlison’s arrival, and other points of attack are required under a new manager.
With Arnaut Danjuma not expected to make his move to the club permanent this summer and Lucas Moura also departing, top-quality attackers could quickly become a priority for Tottenham.
