Ole Gunnar Solskjaer allowed himself a wry smile after Manchester United spluttered their way to an unconvincing 1-0 away victory against Wolves.
Miraculous saves, both from right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and David De Gea secured a clean sheet for United, and Mason Greenwood hit the back of the net at the other end to secure the three points.
Excitement has been building up at Old Trafford after a staggering transfer window; however, this energy was not replicated in the display against Wolves.
Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane both started on the same pitch for the first time, with the latter providing the assist for Greenwood.
However, with the transfer window set to expire on the 31st at 11pm, Daily Star Sport takes a look at five deals that could get over the line before the end of Deadline Day.
Diego Simeone dropped the Spaniard for Atletico Madrid’s 2-2 draw against Villarreal.
It was reported by The Times he was offered to the Red Devils on loan last week, but United were slow to react.
However, reports are suggesting United could be set to come back for the midfielder, as the Fred and Paul Pogba midfield partnership did not look too convincing.
Chelsea is also in the running for the versatile Atletico star, but the Ronaldo factor could swing the pendulum in United’s favour.
The 18-year-old French starlet is reportedly still on United’s radar – although reports in France emerged on Monday night that Real Madrid were on the brink of landing him.
Should the French youngster make the move to Spain, it'll be a huge blow to Solskjaer.
With Scott McTominay’s groin surgery set to keep him on the sidelines for a long time, and Fred continuing to struggle as the lone defensive midfielder, many reports are suggesting United are still looking for a new deep-lying midfielder.
According to The Transfer Window Podcast, Solskjaer’s side are still in the race to sign the midfielder, who is understood to be available for around £35m, having already told Rennes he wants to leave.
Camavinga was also recently dropped to the bench amid the speculation.

Former United manager and current Holland boss Louis Van Gaal has reportedly held talks with Van De Beek, after leaving the 24-year-old out of Holland’s squad for the international break.
The Dutchman’s £40m move from Ajax last season has not worked out so far, with the midfielder only recording four Premier League starts since arriving at Old Trafford.
When asked about the midfielder needing a transfer, Van Gaal refused to be drawn in on the subject.
"I can't say anything about that,” Van Gaal said to Dutch outlet Voetbalzone.
“I spoke with him for about 45 minutes. It is also about other matters than just his role in the Dutch national team. But I can't say anything about that, I think. That's something between Donny and me."
Reports from The Athletic [via football.London] suggest United want to come back into the market for the United international.
While current right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has enjoyed a strong start to the season, reports understand Solskjaer wants to give the former Crystal Palace defender extra competition.
Trippier did not start any of Atletico’s opening two matches, but he did play 90 minutes in their 2-2 draw with current Europa League holders Villarreal.
Ronaldo's cardboard cut-out may have been in the stands with the United fans, but his move is not yet done.
The move for the five-time Ballon D'Or winner is all but confirmed, but there are still some minor things to be agreed.
He passed a United medical upon his arrival, which is reportedly for a to transfer fee of around £20m – a deal is expected to be announced before Tuesday’s 11pm deadline.
TalkSPORT also reported the Portuguese striker is set to sign a two-year deal, which would keep him at Old Trafford until his 39 th birthday.
