Every player has their favourite opponents, and Mohamed Salah will come face-to-face with his on Saturday lunchtime.
That's because during his three seasons as a Liverpool player, the Egyptian has simply loved coming up against Bournemouth .
Salah has netted seven times in his five appearances against Eddie Howe's men, who come to Anfield to kick off the Premier League weekend this Saturday.
And should he find the net against the Cherries again, then Salah will extend a Premier League record that he currently holds alongside the Burnley forward Chris Wood.
As pointed out by premierleague.com , New Zealander Wood has scored six goals in his five appearances for the Clarets against West Ham .
That makes Wood and Salah the only players in the division's history to boast a 100 per cent record of scoring in every game against the same opposition having faced them at least five times.
But if Salah can extend that record over six matches on Saturday then he'll be out on his own as the Premier League's 100 per cent king, at least until Wood and Burnley face West Ham on April 18.
Salah netted once in each of his first two appearances against Bournemouth for the Reds in the 2017/18 season, with his goals coming in a 4-0 win at the Vitality Stadium in December 2017 and a 3-0 success at Anfield in April 2018.
