Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made the FA Cup final his own with his match-winning double for Arsenal at the weekend.
The Gabonese striker put transfer speculation to one side to lift the historic trophy in what some predicted could be his last game for Arsenal.
Aubameyang was central to the celebrations with team-mates after the game, which saw club record signing Nicolas Pepe lift his first trophy with the club.
And leaked footage from before the game showed Pepe got it spot on with his prediction ahead of the huge game.
Pepe was filmed on Snapchat vowing to win the game and secure a place in the Europa League, also backing Aubameyang to outshine opposite number Olivier Giroud.
Speaking to the camera in French, Pepe said: “Tomorrow we qualify for the Europa League
“I don’t want to hear about Chelsea, Olivier Giroud – tomorrow, it’s Aubameyang, Pepe.”
His prediction proved spot on.
After Chelsea took an early lead, Aubameyang scored twice to ensure the Gunners came from behind to take a huge victory.
Pepe also impressed with a strong performance as he ended his mixed debut campaign with a flourish.
All eyes are now on Aubameyang and whether he will commit his long-term future to the club.
Manager Mikel Arteta has challenged Aubameyang to stay put and become a club legend at the Emirates.
“We always had incredible strikers at this football club and Auba deserves to be named and compared with the big names. By winning trophies he will be closer to that the longer he stays there. Hopefully we can have him for longer.
"The biggest problem was to convince him to work the way he was working. He was going to get more reward and more respect and our respect would go to admiration. Admiration from his team-mates and the people who have been with him and also from the fans.
“It (goalscoring) is the most difficult thing in football, that is for sure. He makes it look simple – look at the second goal he scored.”
