Neymar stays entertained in coronavirus lockdown with egg prank on son Davi

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has long been known for making fools of defenders on the pitch, but it seems he's turned his attentions to embarrassing his young son off of it.

The Brazil international is currently in the middle of a lengthy stay in his homeland with France's Ligue 1 season having been cancelled owing to the coronavirus outbreak.

It has left the former Barcelona man with plenty of time to fill in his calendar with the 28-year-old unlikely to be playing football again before the new Ligue 1 season starts later this year.

But rather than sit around and do nothing, it seems Neymar has found a new way to stay entertained – by playing pranks on his poor, unsuspecting son Davi.

The PSG forward started out by taking the youngster out into the garden for a drill to test Davi's heading ability, with Neymar lobbing up ping pong balls for his son to nod into a basket.

After several attempts, some more successful than others, the Brazil international then unveiled they full extent of his devilish plan as he tossed a raw egg toward Davi's head.

With the youngster expecting it to be another ball, he gave the header his full effort but was instead horrified when the egg cracked and the yolk ran all over his head.

Davi could be seen putting his head in his hands after realising what had happened, while dad Neymar turned away from the camera in laughter seemingly pleased with his devilish deed.

The clip certainly seemed to entertain plenty of people online, with celebrities like Justin Bieber and fellow footballers including Raheem Sterling and Alexandre Pato replying to the Instagram post with laughter.

Neymar is not the first footballer to pull the egg prank on a family member during the coronavirus outbreak, with Leicester defender Ben Chilwell having previously pulled a similar trick on his mum.
