Jadon Sancho is set for his first official day as a Manchester United player following his huge £73million move from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.

United finally ended their lengthy pursuit of the winger last month, having been in intense discussions over a transfer for nearly two years.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to sign Sancho to complete a devastating attacking line-up.

Sancho has arrived at Old Trafford for a reported initial fee of £73m but there is the potential for add-ons.

The England international was granted an extended holiday following his Euro 2020 exploits with the Three Lions.

England finished as runners-up after reaching their first major tournament final since 1966.

But Sancho is now set for his first day at United ahead of the 2021-22 Premier League season.

The Manchester Evening News report that the 21-year-old will join the club’s training on Friday.
