Manchester United star Paul Pogba reportedly wants to join PSG in this summer’s transfer window. The France international has always struggled for consistency since moving to Old Trafford in 2016 and, with just a year left on his contract, could be sold. So Express Sport will now take a look at four players the Red Devils could bid for as a result of this latest development.
Regardless of what happens with Pogba, United appear to be pressing ahead with plans to sign Eduardo Camavinga.
The 18-year-old has sparkled at Rennes over the last two years and is viewed as one of the most promising young players in world football.
And though PSG are also admirers of the teenager, United are determined to win the race.
Camavinga has been compared to Pogba as a result of his silky style of play, while he’s also drawn comparisons with Liverpool legend Xabi Alonso for his distribution.
And with United already meeting the player’s entourage for talks, a bid looks likely to be lodged sooner rather than later.

United are admirers of Declan Rice.
And if they can get a good fee in the region of £50million for Pogba, then it’s possible they’ll try to bring the England international to Old Trafford.
Rice, for now, is stalling on a new contract over at the London Stadium.
After enjoying a terrific Euro 2020 campaign, he seems primed to be pursued by many top clubs – with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel also keen.
And with John Murtough and Darren Fletcher both big Rice admirers, he’s certainly another potential Pogba replacement.

Before Euro 2020 started, all signs pointed to Jack Grealish joining Manchester City.
But claims of an agreement have been denied by both parties and that gives United an opportunity to strike.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer himself wanted Grealish signed 12 months ago, only for the Red Devils to be priced out of a deal and forced into snapping up Donny van de Beek instead.
Solskjaer rates the playmaker for his creativity and leadership skills, believing he could be a major asset for the club.
And whether that results in an official bid remains to be seen.
It recently emerged that United were tracking the situation of Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka.
The midfielder wants to stay at the Allianz Arena but, with the Bundesliga giants failing to give him a new deal that’s reflective of his stature in the side, that means there’s a chance he may leave.
Of all the players on this list, signing Goretzka would likely be the most difficult.
After all, Bayern only sell players to United when they’re past their sell-by date. Owen Hargreaves and Bastian Schweinsteiger fall into that category.
Yet with United showing ambition in the transfer market again, nothing can be entirely ruled out.
