Manchester United’s summer will be significant, as they prepare to improve their squad and close the gap between themselves and Premier League winners Manchester City.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have struck a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, but are also looking to bolster other positions such as central midfield, centre-half and right-back.
Having comfortably secured Champions League qualification, finishing above the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, United are now plotting a title charge.
Other than Sancho, they have been linked with players like Raphael Varane as they look to bolster several positions.
Daily Star Sport has taken a look at Manchester United’s latest transfer news below.
Camavinga bid should happen soon
Journalist Fabrizio Romano broke news that Manchester United are prepared to make an offer for Eduardo Camavinga worth around €30m.
Today, French outlet Le Parisien have said that United should make their first offer of around the same fee very soon, but it’s likely to be rejected by Stade Rennais.
The 18-year-old only has one year left on his contract so Rennais would want to get as much as possible if they are to sell him this summer.
Varane has given his word
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Real Madrid ’s Raphael Varane has “given his word” to Manchester United on a potential transfer.
The two clubs are yet to agree on a fee, with Real Madrid looking to gain at least €60m for the player, who’s contract expires next summer.
United, however, are only willing to pay about €45m; it has been reported that the player’s personal terms regarding wages shouldn’t be an issue.

PSG in direct contact with Pogba
Paris Saint-Germain’s Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo are in contact with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba over a potential transfer, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
The publication say that Pogba is impressed with PSG’s project and think he could be a vital part of the team – a transfer may be possible as long as United’s demands are reasonable.
Pogba’s contract runs out next summer and there have been rumours over discussions of an extension, but nothing has materialised.
