Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are jetting off on holiday together on their break between Euro 2020 and the start of pre-season. The pair have been on England duty for a number of weeks, and are virtually certain to link up when Sancho’s move to Manchester United is officially confirmed in the coming days.
For Rashford in particular, it has been a hectic season having racked up more than 60 appearances for club and country.
Those playing at Euro 2020 now have a small window to recover before they report back for another long season.
Sancho and Rashford appear to be spending that window together, building on their relationship before competing for attacking minutes when they return to Old Trafford.
The duo appeared in good spirits on a private jet as they embark on holiday.
Rashford and Sancho are off to recuperate mentally and physically after both missing penalties in the Euro 2020 final shootout against Italy which saw Roberto Mancini’s side lift the trophy.

They were both used sparingly throughout the tournament, with Gareth Southgate preferring the likes of Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling on the flanks.
Even so, they were brought off the bench in the dying moments of the final. Sancho had his spot-kick saved after Rashford saw his strike cannon off the post.
The nation have rallied behind the pair in the wake of the tournament, as well as the unfortunate Bukayo Saka who missed the final penalty, after falling victim to online racist abuse.
It has undoubtedly been an intense few weeks for the young attackers, particularly for Sancho who had been formalising his deal with United during the tournament.
The 21-year-old completed his medical at Carrington on Tuesday, with a formal announcement regarding his £72.6million move expected soon.
The deal will bring him back to the Premier League after leaving Manchester City as a youth product in 2017.
Sancho’s stock rose dramatically while in Germany, scoring 50 goals in 137 games for BVB which has provoked excitement about his return to England.
Rashford is expected to miss pre-season because he will undergo shoulder surgery later this month.
But when Sancho reports for training with his new team-mates, he could also be joined by the likes of Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga.

The French duo have both been heavily linked with the Red Devils in recent weeks, with a deal for the Real Madrid centre-back thought to be particularly close.
For Rashford and Sancho, the team-mates-to-be clearly haven’t had enough of each other despite spending much of the summer together with England.
Fans will hope that their blossoming friendship can translate seamlessly onto the Old Trafford pitch.
