Manchester United star Paul Pogba would prefer to join Real Madrid or Barcelona when his contract expires next summer, according to reports. The France international has also been linked with PSG. And his long-term future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain, with his contract due to expire next year.
Manchester United saw Pogba at his blockbuster best on Saturday.
The France international registered four assists and ran the show as Leeds were beaten 5-1 at Old Trafford, with Bruno Fernandes netting a hat-trick and Mason Greenwood and Fred also on target.
But while the 28-year-old was in majestic form, this could be his final season at the Theatre of Dreams.
The 28-year-old has just a year left on his current contract and, at present, has shown no inclination that he’ll sign a new one.
Now, the Independent say Pogba is planning on leaving for free – just like he did during the summer transfer window of 2012.
And it’s stated that he’d prefer a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid, despite PSG also being in the mix when it comes to snapping him up.

The publication states that the Ligue 1 titans are planning to propose a weekly wage of £510,000-a-week next term, despite recently bringing Lionel Messi to the Parc des Princes.
And United now face the prospect of the 2018 World Cup winner leaving for nothing next year.
History appears to be repeating itself, with Pogba previously doing the same nine years ago when Sir Alex Ferguson ruled the roost.
The midfielder was a young prodigy under the Scot, who had grand plans for his future.
But Pogba decided to join Juventus on a free transfer in a move that angered Ferguson, prompting the Old Trafford legend to hit out at his agent Mino Raiola.
He labelled Raiola a ’s***bag’ during a lecture at Havard University.

And, in his 2015 autobiography, Ferguson said: “There are one or two football agents I simply do not like, and Mino Raiola is one of them.”
“I distrusted him from the moment I met him.
“He became Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent while he was playing for Ajax, and eventually he would end up representing Pogba, who was only 18 years old at the time.
“We had Paul under a three-year contract, and it had a one-year renewal option which we were eager to sign.
“But Raiola suddenly appeared on the scene and our first meeting was a fiasco.

“He and I were like oil and water. From then on, our goose was cooked because Raiola had been able to ingratiate himself with Paul and his family and the player signed with Juventus.”
Pogba later explained his decision to leave United for nothing, saying: “It was a very difficult decision for me, with the manager as well and everything with the contract.
“It wasn’t the contract but more like the trust with the manager.
“Obviously, the manager, for me, is still the best manager in history. When they asked me to sign the contract, if I didn’t sign, a lot of things happened. I didn’t train, I went back to training by myself and stuff like this.
“It made me a bit angry and was nothing about the money.
“It’s just about you’re a player, we believe in you, you believe in you and, me, I just want to play football.
“That is all I want. I want to play. When I had, like I’ve said before, the chance to play or to come on in this game against Blackburn, that’s when really I had heartbreak.
“There was no midfield here – people were injured, [Paul] Scholes wasn’t there, I think he’d retired already and it was before he came back. Rafael played in midfield with Ji-sung Park and I didn’t come on in this game. We lost the game.
“I was on the bench warming up and I thought I would come on and it was a big opportunity for me.
“I didn’t and things happen. The manager has a choice in everything but that day is when I had my heart broken.”
