Manchester United breezed their way into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win over Derby County at Pride Park. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men won courtesy of a fine brace from Odion Ighalo, with Luke Shaw also on target.
Manchester United haven’t won the FA Cup since 2016, back when Louis van Gaal ruled the Old Trafford roost.
But they boosted their chances of lifting the prize with a straightforward victory over Derby County at Pride Park, on a night where Wayne Rooney played against his old side.
It wasn’t Rooney’s night, with the England international easily nullified.
But the evening instead belonged to Ighalo, whose fine brace helped United on their way to victory.
Luke Shaw also scored his first goal of the season and his first since the opening day of last season, where he found the net in a 2-1 Premier League win over Leicester.
Express Sport now rates and slates the United players from the game, with Ighalo topping the list.
