Liverpool team news: Expected 4-3-3 line-up vs Newcastle as Jurgen Klopp makes two tweaks

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to only make minor changes ahead of the trip to Newcastle. The German has no fresh injury concerns as he prepares to make the journey north looking to end a remarkable campaign on a high.

The Reds will want to sign off with a win though and Klopp will therefore be keen to name a strong team.

Captain Jordan Henderson will not be available due to a knee injury sustained at Brighton.

The England international lifted the Premier League trophy aloft on Wednesday night and was also named FWA Footballer of the Year earlier this week.

Joel Matip will also remain sidelined with his foot injury.

This could be the last outing in a Liverpool shirt for several stars.

Adam Lallana is unlikely to feature as he prepares to sign a three-year deal with Brighton next week.

The same applies to Dejan Lovren, who is poised to join Zenit St Petersburg for £10.9million.

Alisson has kept 12 clean sheets this season despite missing nine matches.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could come back in for Gini Wijnaldum after scoring off the bench.

In front, Roberto Firmino could be rested with Divock Origi coming in.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane’s competitive streak should see them start as they look to add more goals to their tally.

Takumi Minamino could also receive minutes against Newcastle from the bench or in place of Firmino.

Liverpool predicted line-up vs Newcastle (4-3-3): Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita; Salah, Mane, Origi.
