Erling Haaland has been tipped with a move away from Borussia Dortmund next summer when his release clause becomes active. The superstar forward will reportedly be able to sign a deal with a rival club next year as long as they stump up £68million.
That’s a paltry figure for a player who is regarded by many as the best young striker in the world.
Europe’s powerhouses will be competing to get their hands on Haaland and Liverpool could find themselves in the driving seat after already speaking to agent Mino Raiola, according to 90min.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have certainly had no problems finding the back of the net this season.
But their famous front three isn’t quite as sharp as it was a few years ago and Roberto Firmino is no longer a guaranteed starter after the emergence of Diogo Jota.
Haaland’s arrival at Anfield could catapult Liverpool to the next level and help them dominate the Premier League, which looks to be far more competitive this season than it has been in recent years.

In fact, wherever Haaland ends up, his goals alone could well laden the club with a flurry of trophies.
Raiola, meanwhile, apparently wants to make Haaland one of the highest paid players in the world and will create a bidding war to get his client the best deal.
Haaland has been in tantalising form for Dortmund this season and has struck eight goals in just six games in all competitions.
He has now taken his overall tally to an astonishing 65 goals in 65 games for the German giants.
Haaland was linked with a move away from Dortmund this summer, with Manchester United and a whole host of other clubs believed to be interested in landing the striker.

Like Haaland, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is Norwegian and managed the player during his days with Molde.
That relationship between the two men could clearly work in United’s favour, but Liverpool will be doing all they can to take the goal machine to Anfield.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain will inevitably be keen for the forward to become part of their star-studded side next year.
The Ligue 1 club already have a plethora of superstars in their team, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe plying their trade at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and PSG would certainly have no hesitation when it comes to splashing the cash on Haaland.
Manchester City are in desperate need of a top forward and may target Haaland, while Chelsea could still be keen for a deal despite already signing Romelu Lukaku.
Real Madrid have already been linked with Haaland, while Barcelona wouldn’t turn the player down, either, if they can rectify their financial woes.
Haaland is apparently biding his time and will not be forced into a quick decision over a mega-money move. But the tempting offers will soon be coming thick and fast.
