Manchester City forward Leroy Sane will play his first game in more than six months for the club’s under-23s against Arsenal and fans are concerned for the Gunners’ young full-backs.
The German has been named in City’s starting lineup for their Premier League 2 clash with Arsenal as he continues his comeback from a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Sane suffered the injury after just 13 minutes of the Community Shield game against Liverpool back in August and has not played since.
He did return to training in January and Pep Guardiola recently spoke about the fact that he would ‘ease back’ Sane with games for the under-23s.

Despite the fact that Sane is now fit to return to football, concerns still remain about his longterm future at the Etihad.
Bayern Munich were openly interested in signing the winger before his injury and it is expected that they will revisit their interest in the summer.
Speaking last month, Guardiola said of Sane’s future: “I don’t have any new news, I’m sorry. The last info I had was that we made him an offer a long time ago and all the time he didn’t reject it.”
