Harry Kane has failed to report to Tottenham's training for the second day running as he looks to force a move through to Manchester City this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur have been defiant in their stance Kane won't leave North London this season.
The England captain has been linked with a move to City this window after Sergio Aguero left the champions earlier this summer.
Kane failed to report for training on Monday morning when he was due back after his break for Euro 2020.
And Kane has missed training again on Tuesday morning, but Spurs are still confident he will return by the end of the week.
Kane was due to return to training on Monday for Covid testing and preliminary fitness tests before slowly returning to first-team training on Tuesday.
However, Spurs are still confident he will return, and it will most likely be this weekend, according to Matt Law.
And Fabrizio Romano has reported that Kane will return to Spurs later this week, however, it won't be for training and instead to discuss his future.
The 28-year-old has expressed his desire to move on from the North London club this summer on numerous occasions.

Kane, on the other hand, believes that the situation has been blown out of proportion.
And Spurs' star-striker believed that he had a gentlemen's agreement with his boyhood side to leave this summer.
But Daniel Levy doesn't appear like he wants to split with Kane this summer, and he has slapped a £160million fee on the England Euro 2020 hero.
Pep Guardiola has already seen a bid of £100million turned down, and City are reluctant to meet Tottenham's demands.

City are hoping to land Kane for around the £100million mark, however, they are believed to be willing to spend £130million at most.
