Jake Paul aims dig at Arsenal in his predicted Premier League top 10 this season

Arsenal fans aren't very impressed with Jake Paul's predictions for the new Premier League season.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 25, is a big football fan, having confirmed his allegiance to Liverpool multiple times on social media. The loudmouth American reckons his beloved Reds will reclaim the title from Manchester City at the end of the season, but it's his Arsenal prediction that has supporters talking.

Paul believes the Gunners will once again finish outside the Champions League spots, which he expects will go to Liverpool, Man City, Tottenham and Manchester United. He also has Chelsea finishing fifth, with Mikel Arteta's men in sixth.

Alongside his predicted top ten, Paul also wrote: "Disclaimer: Only thing I know w/ 100% certainty is Liverpool is better than Arsenal."

And that went down about as well as a cup of cold sick. "Your taking pens in the back like a goth used to in PE in school making soccer predictions leave it out Toaster jaw," complained one fan.

As another said: "How is it possible for a man to be bad in every single aspect of life? He knows nothing about this sport." A third user moaned: "Nah i actually can’t take this seriously not him putting Tottenham 3rd and Arsenal 6th."

Someone else wrote: "This guy trying to insert himself into football is funny." While a fifth commenter chimed in with: "Wtf is he on about, this is like a nun talking sex."

Arsenal did their best to prove Paul wrong on Friday night as they defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park in the opening game of the Premier League season.

Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka scored a goal in either half to give the Gunners all three points and top spot in the Premier League for one night at least. Paul doesn't have to wait long until Liverpool take on the north Londoners, with the two sides due to meet in early October.
