‘I told my WAG I wasn’t coming home from Las Vegas trip – she said don’t bother’

Gabby Agbonlahor has recalled the time his WAG told him "don't bother coming home" after he extended his trip to Las Vegas.

The talkSPORT pundit enjoyed a successful Premier League career with Aston Villa, as well as picking up three caps for England, which helped fund plenty of trips to Sin City. His colleagues Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist were shocked to learn just how many.

Speaking on air yesterday (May 11), he revealed: "I used to be addicted to Vegas, I went 16 times." That prompted a response of "no way" from Brazil and "you're joking me" from McCoist.

Agbonlahor continued: "One summer, we all went to Vegas, and at the airport, me and three of my mates, we were like 'what are we doing leaving Vegas?'

"We all messaged our girlfriends at the airport and said we're not coming home. And they said don't bother coming back, they were fuming. We stayed for another three days."

As if that wasn't bad enough, he went on to admit: "Then come back, went to Dubai with the kids, and went back to Vegas during the six weeks off."

A stunned Brazil asked: "How much did this is all cost Gab?" To which a sheepish Agbonlahor replied: "I don't know, I don't wanna know. I do not wanna know. I was just addicted."

He had a much better experience in Vegas than former Tottenham and Manchester United forward Brazil, who subsequently shared his own story from a trip stateside.

"I went there for the [Ricky] Hatton fight and I missed the fight," he said, sparking laughter in the studio. "I had ringside. I was just talking at the bar."
