Gary Lineker was quick to pay tribute to Mohamed Salah after the Liverpool forward struck his 100th Premier League goal on Sunday afternoon. Salah found the back of the net after 20 minutes to give his side a 1-0 lead against Leeds United at Elland Road.
Following the goal, Lineker took to Twitter to show people exactly what he thought of the achievement.
“Yet another goal for @MoSalah,” wrote the Match of the Day presenter.
“Yet another assist for @TrentAA. 2 genuinely world class footballers.”
Salah became the fifth fastest player to hit a century of Premier League goals with his latest strike.
The Egypt international took just 162 games to reach the milestone – the fewest matches a Liverpool player has ever needed to hit their ton.
