Football fans have joked that Chelsea will have to take the Megabus on away days after sanctions on Roman Abramovich were announced on Thursday.
Abramovich was added to the UK sanctions list on Thursday morning – causing a knock-on effect for the Blues.
Chelsea have been handed a special license so they can continue to operate and fulfill fixtures.
However, as part of the Russia Regulations license, the Blues will be prohibited from spending more than £20,000 on any travel to away games.
"Chelsea boys on the Megabus! You absolutely love to see it," one fan joked.
A second added: "Chelsea have had limits placed on travel costs as well. Look forward to seeing them travelling to aways on a Megabus."
"The thought of Chelsea players catching RyanAir flights to games and staying in Premier Inns has warmed my heart a little today, I can’t lie," a third joked.
While a fourth added: "Lol when the Chelsea team arrive at a euro away whilst departing their Ryanair flight."

However, the UK Government have allowed some flexibility around the travel cost limit for the Blues' European games.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have also been prohibited from selling tickets.
And only season ticket holders will be able to attend games.
However, any tickets already purchased before March 10 will be able to be used for fixtures.
