Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Elanga are both expected to stay at Manchester United on transfer deadline day.
Erik ten Hag had a late change of heart on sending highly-promising Uruguay forward Pellistri out on loan.
Watford were eager to take him for the remainder of the campaign and envisaged him playing a significant role in their bid to win promotion back to the Premier League.

The Uruguayan forward, 21, has made a number of recent substitute appearances in the cups
Their manager Slaven Bilic admires the 21-year-old and had been working on the possibility of securing a deal all month.
Pellistri has come off the bench in United’s last two Carabao Cup fixtures against Charlton Athletic and Nottingham Forest, and was also subbed on during the 3-1 FA Cup fourth round win over Reading.
With United competing on four fronts, Ten Hag, who has been pleased with Pellistri’s development and believes he will flourish further given opportunities, wants all options to be available.

Winger Elanga, 20, has been linked with a loan move away this month but is also expected to stay at Old Trafford.
