Everton have rejected a bid from PSV for Jarrad Branthwaite, however, they are allowing defender Joe Anderson to join Sunderland.
The 20-year-old has been on a season-long loan at the Dutch club, but the Toffees have declined an offer for a permanent move for the centre-back.
Branthwaite signed for Everton from Carlisle in 2020, and has gone on to make 13 appearances for the club, scoring one goal. He also spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Championship side Blackburn.

This season, the defender has played 12 times for PSV, scoring once and the Dutch club seem keen to keep Branthwaite at the club. However, Everton have rejected a permanent offer for the player.
While Branthwaite doesn’t look like he’ll be leaving Goodison Park, the club are set to allow another centre-back leave Merseyside, with Joe Anderson poised to move to Sunderland.
The 21-year-old has been with the Toffees since he was 15 but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.

He is the current captain of Everton’s under-21 side, but has regularly trained with the first team.
Everton, who are set to announce the appointment of Sean Dyche as the club’s new manager this week, have yet to add to their squad in the January transfer window and remain in a relegation scrap at the bottom of the Premier League.
This weekend also saw the departure of home grown star Anthony Gordon, who completed a £45million deal to join Newcastle.
