Fed up Everton fans have begged for liquidation after Tottenham hijacked Arnaut Danjuma from under their noses.
The Villarreal ace was poised to join Everton after reportedly completing his medical with the Toffees on the weekend, pending paperwork that needed to be completed. But in a shocking turn of events, the striker has allegedly had a change of heart and is on his way to join Spurs instead, according to The Athletic.
A further report from The Bobble claimed Danjuma refused to send over his registration details to the FA on Tuesday morning so his switch to Goodison Park could be finalised, leaving the Merseyside outfit bewildered. But it's been revealed that the Netherland's international's talks with Spurs were the reason behind his reluctance to sign on the dotted line.

And following the news that Spurs have poached the 25-year-old from their grasp, Toffees fans implored for the club to be liquidated on Twitter. One fan scoffed: "Just fold the club," amid a slew of laughs.
And another lamented: "This has to be one of the worst times to be an Evertonioan in the history of the club." A third fan furiously declared: "We are the worst-run business in the world. Absolute joke of a football club!"

While a fourth user fumed: "Nothing surprises me about our inability to do anything in a professional manner anymore. This has to be the worst period at the club in our history & the main protagonists are still in situ. What an embarrassment we are," as a cascade of fellow fans chipped in with their annoyance towards the Danjuma debacle.
The forward's snub comes at the worst time for Everton who sacked Frank Lampard a few days ago.
Lampard was said to be instrumental in putting the transfer together, and Danjuma was allegedly seeking reassurances that David Moyes wouldn't become the Toffess' new boss before committing to the club.
He'll now go onto join ex-Toffees star Richarlison at White Hart Lane. And the move will likely quell the noise from Spurs fans who were calling for chairman Daniel Levy to leave the club in a protest during the Lilywhites' 1-0 win over Fulham on Monday night, in a game where Harry Kane equalled Jimmy Greaves' goal record.
