Erik ten Hag has confirmed Christian Eriksen will train with the first team today after revealing the midfielder was ahead of schedule in his return from injury.

The Dane has been out of action for over two months following a nasty challenge from Andy Carroll in an FA Cup victory against Reading in January.
Initial assessments suggested Eriksen could miss the majority of the remainder of the season and he would return in late April or early May.
However, Eriksen’s recovery has been quicker than expected and he will train with the first team today.
While tomorrow’s game against Brentford will come too soon for Eriksen, Ten Hag hopes he could feature against Everton on the weekend.
‘Not for tomorrow but he’s returning on the pitch,’ said Ten Hag.
‘He’s returning into team training today, so we have to see now how quickly he can make the progress.’
Eriksen’s return is timely as United are currently without Casemiro in midfield.
The Brazilian will miss the next two fixtures after receiving a second red card of the season against Southampton last month.
Ten Hag admits his side have missed the pair.
‘Two quality players,’ he said of Casemiro and Eriksen.
‘The midfield department, games will always be decided in midfield, when you miss two quality players, it’s clear. But you have a squad, if you don’t have them you still have to win.’
