Edinson Cavani hailed by Man Utd fans as footage ‘briefing’ Axel Tuanzebe emerges

Manchester United fans heaped praise on Edinson Cavani as footage emerged of him ‘briefing’ Axel Tuanzebe before the club’s Champions League win over PSG. The Red Devils pulled off a strong performance to beat last season’s runners-up 2-1 at the Parc des Princes.

Bruno Fernandes got the scoring started from the penalty spot before Anthony Martial’s own goal drew the French side level in the second half.

Marcus Rashford, though, struck again in Paris with a low drive to secure the victory.

But the headlines were stolen by Tuanzebe, who made his last senior appearance for United in December 2019, as he stepped in for Harry Maguire.

And footage has emerged of Cavani, PSG’s all-time top scorer who joined the Old Trafford side this summer, appearing to give him some top tips.

While the players are smiling, the Uruguayan forward is in deep conversation with Tuanzebe.

Cavani appears to be talking through some tactics, moving his hands around as the Englishman nods along.

They continue to chat before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer moves the team onto the next exercise.

A fifth suggested they were discussing a particular player, with: “Hoe to pocket [Kylian] Mbappe 101.”
