Football fans were stunned to see Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the Sky Sports studio on Monday night – but were impressed by his clobber.

Calvert-Lewin was working as a pundit as his Everton side travelled to Molineux to take on Wolves.

Many were shocked to see the striker in the studio and not at the ground with Calvert-Lewin's suit initially drawing attention.

Many were impressed by the checkered outfit, though were not so sure on his voice comparing the England star to fellow pundit Michael Owen.

One social media user commented: "Is it just me or does Dominic Calvert-Lewin sound like Michael Owen."

While another wrote: "If you close your eyes Calvert Lewin has a voice like Michael Owen."

A third, referencing the suit, put: "Big Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks a million dollars, speaks brilliantly but sounds like Michael Owen."

While another wrote: "Dominic Calvert-Lewin given four hours of national TV airtime to show he is the best Michael Owen vocal impressionist in the business."

Others paid attention to Calvert-Lewin's wardrobe choice as it emerged the Gucci jacket is worth £2,250 on its own.

One commented: "Never expected it but Calvert-Lewin is dressed f***ing pimp on #MNF. Suit game on 100."

With another agreeing: "Dominic Calvert-Lewin is looking SHARP on Monday Night Football."

Calvert-Lewin was in the Sky Sports studio alongside fellow Monday Night Football regular Jamie Carragher.

Former Manchester United star Gary Neville was not involved, though did praise Calvert-Lewin for taking up the opportunity.

Neville tweeted: "Well done to @CalvertLewin14 for going on MNF. Live TV , no script and for a current player to put themselves in that position takes some guts.

"He’s speaking well and really relaxed. ( even though I’m sure he’s a bit nervous ) . Looks the part too. Hope more do it."
