Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and Nemanja Matic’s son recreate Man Utd goal vs Chelsea

Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Matic's sons have brilliantly recreated their dads' involvements in the lead up to Manchester United's goal against Chelsea on Thursday night.

Matic beautifully assisted Ronaldo with a chip before the Portuguese controlled it with a fine touch and fired it beyond Edouard Mendy to cancel out Marco Alonso's opener on the hour mark. Ronaldo bagged his 17th goal of the season after the 1-1 equaliser.

On Friday, 11-year olds Filip Matic and Cristiano Jr decided to try and recreate their own version in an indoor pitch. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Filip chips over his coach, acting as a defender, sending Cristiano Jr through before he tucks the ball into the empty net.

The pair who play for United's academy, alongside Wayne Rooney's eldest son Kai, celebrated together arm in arm before saying Ronaldo's famous 'Siu.' The heartwarming video got many fans talking, as one added: "Don't think I could love this anymore," before another continued: "Imagine they do this at Old Trafford when they are older."

Matic who made the £40million move from Chelsea in 2017, recently announced he will be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season, after a fifth season at the club.

"For me it has been a pleasure and an honour to play at Old Trafford for five years and I will do my best to help my team," the Serbian said in a post-match interview with Sky Sports on Thursday.

"I’ll just repeat, it’s been a pleasure. Three more games to play and United will stay forever in my heart, together with Chelsea."

The 33-year-old has made just under 190 appearances for the club. Matic will be keen to help his side seal a place in European competition next season, with the side currently sitting sixth in the Premier League. United have three games left to play until the end of the season against Brentford, Brighton and Crystal Palace.
