Cristiano Ronaldo shared an intense MMA-style face off with Khabib Nurmagomedov before hugging it out with the former UFC champion.
Khabib had been in Manchester over the weekend, and he had caught both Manchester sides in action in their Premier League fixtures.
The pair are long term friends, and Khabib captioned the Instagram post: "He's the best ever, keep doing your things champ! You inspire millions of people around the world."
And Ronaldo himself commented: "It's always good to see you, my friend."
However, it was the video that Khabib uploaded featuring their face-off that garnered the most attention from the Manchester United faithful.
Khabib had taken time out of his stop in England to visit Carrington after he had watched on from the stands on Saturday lunchtime.
The former UFC champion posed with a United shirt ay Old Trafford, with 'Khabib No.7' on the back, but United's No.7 wasn't in the starting lineup.
"[On Friday] we talked a little bit about today's match. They said they were going to be on the bench but in the second half, they are going to come in," Khabib told MUTV.
"It was very interesting for me [to see] like how they are feeling and what energy they are doing before the match, the night before the match.
