Coronavirus: Serie A to be played behind closed doors after Italian government decision

Serie A and other sporting events in Italy are set to be played behind closed doors for the next month following a recommendation from the Italian Sports Ministry.

The Coppa Italia clashes tonight and tomorrow have already been postponed due to the illness.

Juventus were meant to take on AC Milan tonight while Inter Milan were set to travel to Napoli tomorrow night in the second leg of the two semi-finals.

There were also five Serie A matches postponed at the weekend leaving the rest of the season in the balance.
