William Saliba let his silky footwork do the talking during Arsenal's pre-season demolition of Sevilla in the Emirates Cup as the youngster closes in on a long-awaited Premier League debut.
The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes for a very strong Gunners' side in north London this weekend and played a key role in their clean sheet alongside Ben White and Gabriel.
Although Bukayo Saka netted twice and Eddie Nketiah found the net as well as a Gabriel Jesus treble in a 6-0 victory – fans have found time to praise the France international.

One moment in particular got fans excited, with the confident star skipping between three Sevilla forwards having been given the ball by White deep in their own half.
One fan wrote in response: "First time watching him, what a baller he is!"
With a second adding: "Saliba looks unreal and keeps getting better. He’s really making a case for himself to keep that starting position."

A fourth added: "Saliba will be a great player for Arsenal." With a fifth concluding: "We have a GOAT in our hands."
Saliba's agent posted a cryptic Instagram update over his future at the club earlier this week following his return on loan from Marseille – with talk over a new contract.
With Mikel Arteta insisting that the France international is now ready to compete in the Premier League with two years left on his current deal, agent Djibril Niang had travelled to London.
Before lining up against Sevilla, Saliba played the full fixture as Arsenal demolished London rivals Chelsea in Florida Cup.
