Chelsea have been by far the most active Premier League club in the transfer market this summer.
Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech arrived at Stamford Bridge last month, while the £50million purchase of Ben Chilwell was completed on Wednesday.
The Blues’ spending spree looks set to continue if the rumour mill is anything to go by.
Here are the latest transfer stories concerning Frank Lampard’s team.
Sarr signs for Blues
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Malang Sarr on a free transfer.
The centre-back, who left Nice when his contract expired earlier this summer, has signed a five-year deal.
Sarr will spend the 2020/21 season out on loan, although Chelsea have not yet announced which club will benefit from his services.
“The opportunity to sign Malang was one we could not miss,” said director Marina Granovskaia.
"He is a tremendous prospect and we will be monitoring him closely during his loan period, hoping he will soon be back at Chelsea. We are very happy to welcome him to the club today."
Havertz wages ‘announced’
Kai Havertz will earn £310,000 a week at Chelsea, according to a report in The Sun.
That pay packet will make the Germany international the fourth-highest earner in the Premier League behind David de Gea, Mesut Ozil and Kevin De Bruyne.
Chelsea are expected to complete the signing of the Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder in the coming days.
The club will pay up to £90m for Havertz, who had previously been linked with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
And Chelsea will also shatter their existing wage structure to land the 21-year-old, with no player in their squad currently earning more than £200,000 per week.
Club open Mendy talks
Chelsea have held early discussions with Rennes over goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, reports Football Insider.
The Blues are looking to upgrade between the sticks after Kepa Arrizabalaga’s disappointing season last time out.
Mendy is believed to be a target for Lampard, but Chelsea have yet to make a formal offer for the shot-stopper.
The club values the 28-year-old at around £22m – significantly less than Rennes’ asking price of £45m.
The French side may budge on that figure, though, particularly as they only paid £3.6m for him last summer.

Thiago Silva will complete his move to Chelsea today, according to The Athletic.
The Brazil international is set to sign a one-year deal with the west Londoners after his Paris Saint-Germain contract expired.
Silva played his last game for PSG – who he has represented since 2012 – in Sunday’s 1-0 Champions League final defeat to Bayern Munich.
The 35-year-old’s contract will include an option of another year that can be triggered by either party.
Silva won seven Ligue 1 titles in eight seasons in France and will now be looking to add a Premier League medal to his collection.
