Chelsea will enter their Premier League showdown with Manchester United looking to continue their fine form under Thomas Tuchel. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side certainly won’t be easy. So Express Sport will now take a look at the four players the Blues should be fearful of ahead of the match.
Let’s start with the obvious.
Bruno Fernandes has been nothing short of sublime since joining United from Sporting Lisbon back in January transfer window of 2020.
He was, somewhat unnecessarily, started against Real Sociedad on Thursday but the brutal truth is he’s too vital to drop – and too moody to bench.
Fernandes, with 22 goals, is United’s top scorer.
And Chelsea will have to be at their absolute best to prevent the Portugal international from taking the match by storm.

At the start of the season, Marcus Rashford appeared to be struggling.
But the United star is back to his blockbuster best and will play a key role for Solskjaer’s side this season.
Chelsea will know all about the danger the England international can cause after he scored three times against them last term.
Manchester United ‘buzzing’ about Pellistri and Diallo
Tottenham star Son Heung-min ‘would consider Real Madrid move’
Liverpool saw three deadline day deals fail before sealing Ozan Kabak transfer
So he’s another Tuchel will have to prepare for.
Cesar Azpilicueta’s experience could be key when it comes to keeping Rashford at bay, while Reece James’ pace may also be called upon.
Last season, United beat Chelsea three times.
They won 4-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League, emerged 2-0 victors in the same fixture at Stamford Bridge and also beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Carabao Cup.
And Fred was key to the victories, with the Brazil international causing Chelsea problems with his energetic presence in the middle of the park.
The Blues will have to put pressure on the Samba star.
Because, if they don’t, then United could dominate the midfield areas.
United have seen Luke Shaw improve considerably this term.
He never looked like living up to his potential during Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho’s spells in charge.
But Solskjaer has coaxed the best from the England international in a way his predecessors never could.
Shaw is solid defensively, often using his speed to get back and provide United with solidarity.
And he’s really improved from an attacking perspective, too, something Chelsea will be aware of before the contest on Sunday.
Tuchel speaks out
Speaking before the game, Tuchel admitted his PSG side’s defeat to United earlier in the season left him in a ‘dark place’.
Tuchel said: “I can be very honest, after that match I was two days in a very dark place and I can tell you I was not able to speak to anybody and to think about anything else than this defeat.
“That maybe was the worst defeat that I experienced because it came from nowhere.
“It was, in a way, in the circumstances that it arrived. I was for two days in a dark place for a coach to be at.”
