Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will not allow Hakim Ziyech to leave the club in this window, according to reports. Chelsea were thought to be open to letting Ziyech leave earlier this summer after less than a year at Stamford Bridge. He joined from Ajax last year for a fee of £33million, becoming the first of seven off-season signings for Frank Lampard.
Ziyech arrived at Chelsea with an injury and started just 15 Premier League games in his first campaign at the club.
The Blues are well stocked with attacking options and the 28-year-old struggled to get into the side ahead of the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claimed in June that AC Milan were keen on signing Ziyech.
Chelsea were said to be undecided over whether to let the player leave and would listen to offers.

However, the same outlet now reports Milan’s chances of signing the player are ‘almost impossible’.
That is because Tuchel has used the Morocco international regularly in both the pre-season friendlies and in the UEFA Super Cup against Villarreal.
Ziyech suffered a shoulder injury in that match after opening the scoring in Belfast.
After the match, Tuchel said the problem looked serious.

The German said: “If you take a player out during the first half, it is serious.
“It was unfortunate because he has been a very decisive player in the last games.”
Milan did not make an official approach to Chelsea for Ziyech but were hoping to receive a signal that the player was available on loan.
However, they will now pursue Croatia international Nikola Vlasic instead.
Chelsea have made just one major signing so far this summer, bringing in Romelu Lukaku for a club-record £97.5million.
They are linked with Sevilla star Jules Kounde but former Blues star Frank Leboeuf believes the emergence of Trevoh Chalobah means the Frenchman is no longer needed.
Asked if Chelsea still need to sign Kounde, Leboeuf told ESPN FC: “That’s a good question, that’s a very good question.
“I almost had tears in my eyes when I saw Trevoh Chalobah scoring, it was absolutely fantastic. He was very good in the Super Cup and was good against Crystal Palace.
“I’m very fond of that player and I have doubts that Chelsea need another defender. They already have lots of defenders and Chalobah is already on top of who we were thinking of.
“So what’s the point? Kounde is a fantastic player but you cannot make everyone happy so what’s the point having Chalobah, [Kurt] Zouma, [Andreas] Christensen, [Antonio] Rudiger, Thiago Silva when most of them will be on the bench?
“You have to make choices, you have two places for five or six players, it’s too many. If Chalobah keeps playing like this, they don’t need Kounde.”
