Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been told to “stop moaning and get on with it” following his latest rant. Tuchel was fuming after Chelsea conceded a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at home to Brighton on Wednesday. The German claimed his side cannot compete in the Premier League title race due to absences in his squad caused by COVID-19 and injuries.
Tuchel hit out at the Premier League earlier this month for not postponing their match against Wolves.
And he was arguably more angry after the disappointing draw with Brighton.
But former Aston Villa captain Gabriel Agbonlahor says Tuchel had a good enough squad at his disposal against the Seagulls.
Agbonlahor says there is no way Tuchel should have reacted like he did in his post-match press conference.

“Where do I start with Tuchel?” Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT.
“I looked at Chelsea’s bench, I’ll read it out to you. [Kai] Havertz, [Marcos] Alonso, [Malang] Sarr, [Trevoh] Chalobah, [N’Golo] Kante, Saul Niguez, [Hakim] Ziyech, [Ross] Barkley – what’s he moaning about?
“He even said after the game that he can’t play any wing-backs. Well play a 4-4-2 for one game, I’m sure you’ll survive.
“With [Cesar] Azpilicueta right-back, Chalobah, [Antonio] Rudiger, Alonso. Most teams in the Premier League would chop your arm off for that defence.
“So stop moaning and get on with it.”

Chelsea are second in the Premier League table, a point clear of third-placed Liverpool.
But Manchester City are pulling away at the top, currently eight points ahead of the Blues.
And Tuchel says there is no chance of his side competing for the title due to their current squad status.
“How should we be in it?” he said.
“We have seven Covid cases. We have four or five players out for six or more weeks. How should we compete in a title race?
“Everybody else has a full squad and has everybody in training and is training every day at full power to come through this league.
“It would be stupid if we can do it [even with] Covid and if we can do it [even with] injury, and just play, everybody would be stupid to have 23 players.
“I really don’t know what I can expect from my players, in terms of minutes, in terms of intensity. I don’t know it any more.
“Nobody knows it, because we have never done something like this. So we play trial and error and see what we get.”
