England's record-breaking Lionesses were filmed partying on their hotel lawn as celebrations ran long into the night following a 2-1 win over Germany in the European Championships final.
Chloe Kelly's extra-time winner prompted bedlam around Wembley Stadium with the Manchester City forward prodding home from inside the six-yard box to hand England their first major trophy since 1966.
12 months on from European Championships heartbreak, when the men's team suffered defeat via a penalty shootout to Italy, the women's team finally brought football home after a 56-year wait. And the celebrations, quite rightly, were enjoyed until the early hours of Monday morning.

Sarina Wiegman's side were spotted partying outside the Lensbury Resort, where they have been situated for the entirety of the home tournament, with the Lionesses appearing a little worse for wear when chanting the now-famed England classic "It's Coming Home," as originally performed by Frank Skinner, David Baddiel and The Lightning Seeds in 1996.
Donning an array of bucket hats, flags and scarves, the England team seemed fittingly jubilant for beating a Germany outfit that has never lost a European Championships, winning eight of the last 11 tournaments. Lionesses' all-time record goalscorer Ellen White made sure it was a night to remember by unreservedly flaunting the trophy in front of the nearby reporters.

Already well into their evening celebrations, the Lionesses had wallowed in their record-breaking victory by necking beers in the dressing room to kick-start festivities before gatecrashing Wiegman's post-match press conference with a rendition of "It's Coming Home." Their merrymaking then continued long into the night inside the luxury four-star hotel.
"It was so tight but who cares?" Wiegman told reporters after ending 56 years of hurt. "We won 2-1 and we are European champions. If you really want to win and become better every single day, that’s what I have noticed the whole year.
"It’s been incredible. We agreed a couple of things on behaviours, they weren’t just words, we lived it. And this is the result."
