Paul Pogba’s Manchester United future is up in the air with the France midfielder having just ten months left on his contract, sparking interest from Europe’s top clubs. Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been credited with heavy interest in the past, and according to reports it seems as though Barca may be the ones to seal his signature.
The Blaugrana are somewhat of a crisis club at the moment with manager Ronald Koeman’s future in doubt and financial issues continue to torment the club.
The signing of Pogba would go a long way to restoring some faith in the club’s board, and it would be a move United fans would envy them for.
And it could be a double whammy if a report from Mundo Deportivo is to be believed – with United target and Leipzig forward Dani Olmo also linked with a move to Catalonia.
Olmo, 23, grew up in Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy from the age of nine.
But with first-team opportunities limited at the time due to Barcelona’s excellence, the Spaniard surprisingly moved to Dinamo Zagreb.
He excelled in Croatia before moving to Leipzig in January 2020, where he has impressed further on the International stage.
Now Europe’s elite are after his signature, and United are keeping tabs on him incase of a departure for Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani’s contract expiring next summer.
But Barca have also registered an interest – with the report claiming that the Catalan side have already started talks with Leipzig.

“With Barca and Leipzig negotiating his transfer, the winger received permission from his club to negotiate with FC Barcelona,” the report said.
Olmo has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Barca, despite the turmoil that continues to cloud the club.
Olmo can play in the attacking midfield role or either side of the striker, making him a valuable asset for any club.

And he could line up alongside Paul Pogba – not in United colours, but at the Camp Nou.
Reports suggest that Joan Laporta has already initiated talks to sign Pogba on a free transfer at the end of next season.
Pogba has been in sensational form this season, registering seven assists for the Red Devils.
