Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has set a deadline for Arsenal to agree a deal for Aouar.

"From Friday evening, when Rudi [Garcia] will choose his squad vs Marseille, there will be no
departures," said Aulas.
"We could see ourselves lose two players."

Arsenal’s hopes of landing Lyon star Houssem Aouar depend on sales, with the Evening Standard stating that the club are hoping to find buyers for peripheral players.
Torreira – set to sign Atletico Madrid on loan, rather than permanently – and Sead Kolasinac, who is interesting Bayer Leverkusen, are the first two players set to exit the Gunners.

Flores pens long-term Arsenal deal
Highly-rated teenager Marcelo Flores has been training with Arsenal’s first-team squad and has
penned a new contract, his father Ruben has said.
The 16-year-old has been playing with the club’s Under-18 side having joined the club a year ago
from Ipswich Town.
“He has a contract for the next two years to play in the U18, but I already have an agreement in
which he will sign a professional contract for the next five years with Arsenal,” Flores told Milenio, as per Sport Witness.
“Due to UEFA and FIFA rules it cannot be done until 1st of October this year, which is when he turns 17, but we already have an agreement and an arrangement and surely on 1st of October the news will come out that a Mexican signed a professional contract with Arsenal for so many years.
“Now nothing has been said because it will be done when he turns 17 when the presentation can be made, but we are already arranged.”
