Arsenal will snub the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho, preferring instead to stick with the trio of Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang, Martin Odegaard and Alexandre Lacazatte.
The Gunners have been linked with a potential swap deal involving the out-of-favour Barcelona star and Aubameyang amid rumours of a fallout at the Emirates.
But that is a complete non-starter according to the Mirror, who say that the north Londoners are not interested in Coutinho and do not want to offload Aubameyang or Lacazatte.
They are full committed to the forward duo and see them as key members of the squad as Arsenal bid to break back into the top-six in the Premier League.
There is no issue with either Aubameyang or Lacazette after they missed the club's Premier League opener against Brentford through illness, with reports of a bust-up wide of the mark.
Both men are expected to miss Sunday's trip to Chelsea, but Mikel Arteta wants them straight back in his squad as soon as they are fit.
The duo linked up well with creative midfielder Martin Odegaard last season, and Arteta will be hoping his star trio can pick up where they left off once the Norwegian's return to the Emirates is confirmed.

Arsenal are working on a deal to bring the Real Madrid star back to north London on a permanent basis for a fee of around £30million.
However, there is still work to be done to get a move over the line for the 22-year-old, who impressed on loan during the second half of last season.
Arteta revealed at the end of last season that he wanted to bring Odegaard back to the club this summer, and it now looks as though he'll get his man.
"We have a very clear and strong opinion on what we would like to do," Arteta said about the midfielder's potential future in north London.
"He has adapted really well to our way of playing and to our football. Hopefully we have given him the hope and the feeling this could be a good place for him."
If they can get the balance right between Odegaard, Aubameyang and Lacazatte, Arsenal will have a forward line capable of scoring plenty of goals this term.
And if the Gunners complete the £30million signing of Odegaard and £24million move for Aaron Ramsdale, it will mean that the club will have spent £135million this summer.
The duo would join Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares as Arteta's new arrivals in a radically reshaped squad.
