Arsenal's bizarre huddle after Southampton scored a quick double was branded branded 'extremely strange'.
The Gunners went 1-0 down after Aaron Ramsdale's error resulted in the Saints taking the lead within 30 seconds through Carlos Alcaraz. And they doubled their lead through Theo Walcott shortly after.
In an attempt to galvanise his out-of-sorts team-mates, Oleksandr Zinchenko formed the group into a huddle. But the defender's spirit-building exercise was ridiculed by pundits and fans alike.

Gary Neville led the charge by saying: "Well shock, absolute shock around this stadium. Here he is, he’s calling a huddle. I have to say, he would have been better off getting around his centre back than calling a huddle.
"This is extremely strange – extremely strange. [Martin] Odegaard’s having a word with him and saying what’s going on? But, it’s all a little odd. If you wanted signs of nerves, signs of a wobble, signs of tension, you’re seeing it right in front of your eyes."

And one fan echoed Neville's sentiment by saying: "Southampton stealing the Arsenal huddle like they're the Avengers." A second supporter got in on the joke, adding: "Arsenal are a bunch of huddle merchants."
The onslaught was continued by a third fan who quipped: "That weird huddle Zinchenko got the Arsenal players to do was f***ing bizarre." But a fifth user was left confused by Arsenal's actions and quizzed: "Watching Arsenal v Southampton- what’s all this huddle nonsense after goals?"
However, the huddle seemed to have the desired effect as the Gunners pulled one back through Gabriel Martinelli moments later. Arsenal will be hoping they can overturn the deficit to keep their title pursuit on course with a relentless Man City breathing down their necks.
