Arsenal fans are not impressed after the Emirates was decked out in platic clappers for their crunch clash against Manchester United.
The Gunners have long been the subject of jokes from rival supporters about the poor atmosphere at their north London home. But that hasn't been a problem this season, with Mikel Arteta's side riding high at the top of the Premier League.
Yet the powers that be seemingly wanted to give Arsenal an extra boost during their match against United, and so decided to deck out the entire Emirates with clappers. Pictures from the ground before kick-off showed thousands of the pesky plastic noise makers dotted on the seats.

While the intention may have been to give the Gunners an extra edge against Erik ten Hag's side, their addition around the stadium didn't go down well with the club's own fans.
One supporter tweeted: "Relegate us." Someone else said: "Clappers, tinpot." A third user commented: "Pure cringe and completely unneeded."
Should Arsenal be relegated for using clappers? Let us know in the comments section.
Another fan wrote: "Bin! Atmosphere been class last two seasons!" As someone else chimed in on a similar theme, saying: "Stadium management, fan engagement team or whoever organised this needs replacing immediately."
Gunners star Bukayo Saka recently praised the Emirates atmosphere in an interview with the Evening Standard. He said: "At the Emirates Stadium, we feel like we are going to win, especially with the way the fans have supported us this year. I can remember one game where we went 1-0 down – and they were still cheering for us. That normally didn’t use to happen at the Emirates.
"I think the fans have really stepped up and supported us this year. Of course, from our side, we believe in each other more and we’ve added some good players. We are performing at a high level right now."
