Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal to sell Saed Kolasinac to Bayer Leverkusen in an attempt to fund another move for Houssem Aouar, and are working on selling Lucas Torreira to Atletico Madrid. That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who reported on Tuesday night that the Gunners are getting busy in the market.
Arsenal are still working on a move to sign Aoaur.
The Lyon midfielder is their top priority ahead of the final five days of the transfer window.
The Gunners have already been busy improving other areas of the squad, but Mikel Arteta has his heart set on a new midfielder.
Lyon have placed a £54million price tag on the midfielder, and Arsenal are yet to come close to that fee in any of their bids so far.

They have apparently placed bids up to £30m, and are set to make a fresh £35m proposal today.
Arsenal are expected to offload players before any new faces arrive, with Kolasinac and Torreira both up for sale.
And Romano reports that they are closing in on getting a deal over the line for Kolasinac to leave.
He tweeted: “The deal for Sead Kolasinac to Bayer Leverkusen will be completed on next 48 hours. €11m + add ons to Arsenal, confirmed.

Kolasinac has only featured once so far this season, playing 90 minutes in the 2-1 lead against West Ham.
Torreira, on the other hand, is yet to feature in any competition in the current campaign, and was used as a bit-part player at the end of last season.

They might not be the only two players departing before Monday night’s deadline, however.
Matteo Guendouzi is reportedly on the verge of leaving the club this summer after falling out of favour under Arteta.
The Frenchman hasn’t played since his bust-up with Neal Maupay in Arsenal’s defeat against Brighton at the end of last season.
He is yet to be included in any of Arteta’s matchday squads this season, and reportedly handed in a transfer request earlier in the summer.
