Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to the forward’s agent.

The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at United and has started just four games in all competitions this season.

Following Ralf Rangnick’s arrival at Old Trafford, Martial has been left out of United’s last two matchday squads against Crystal Palace and Young Boys.

For United’s final Champions league group game on Wednesday, Rangnick opted to include several United academy players in his squad ahead of Martial.

And now Martial’s representative has revealed the forward wants to leave United next month.

‘Anthony wishes to leave the club in January,’ Philippe Lamboley told Sky Sports News.

‘He just needs to play. He doesn’t want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon.’
