Andy Gray has slammed Dejan Lovren for his performance in Liverpool's shock defeat to Watford .
The defender replaced the injured Joe Gomez at the back but struggled to contain Hornets striker Troy Deeney, who sealed the 3-0 win after Ismaila Sarr's double had put the home side in command.
Gray was damning in his assessment of Lovren after the game as the Reds suffered their first Premier League loss in 45 games.
The beIN Sports pundit said: "There's a saying in football – 'you get ragdolled' – when a centre-forward bosses you.
"He [Deeney] did that to Lovren today. The last time Liverpool lost by three goals guess who was centre back? Dejan Lovren."
Klopp vowed his Kop stars would go again after the runaway leaders lost for the first time in the Premier League for more than a year.
“I think 3-0 was a little bit harsh but we had a big hand in that and we didn't perform like we should have. But congratulations to Watford.
“We don't think it's the biggest catastrophe in the world of football. Yes, it's the opposite of what we wanted and some people might say they saw it coming, but I didn't see it coming.
“Just because you're not convincing in the last game doesn't mean the next one is the same.
“I don't think you break records because you want to. We would lose a game at some time, it was clear it would happen. We didn't think about it. Tonight it has happened.
“Now we don't have to think about the records, we can think about winning games.
“What the players did so far is exceptional. But it's not over. That's all I'm interested in.
“We will go again 100% and we will see where it leads us. We didn't expect to win this number of games. But it was never easy.”
