All Serie A games including Juventus vs Inter called off over coronavirus fears

All this weekend's Serie A games have been called off amid the coronavirus crisis.

Matches were due to be played behind closed doors, including a potential title showdown between Juventus and Inter Milan, but they have now been postponed.

AC Milan vs Genoa, Parma vs SPAL, Udinese vs Fiorentina and Sassuolo vs Brescia were also due to be played this weekend.

The matches have been rescheduled for May 13.

Coronavirus is yet to have an impact on English fixtures, but some clubs have started taking provisions as the disease spreads at an alarming rate across the globe.

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce confirmed his players have been told not to shake hands with one another on the training ground.

There are fears that Euro 2020 – due to be played in a host of cities across Europe – could be thrown into doubt by the crisis, with Rome one of the cities set to host games.

UEFA executive committee member Michelle Uva said: "We are at the waiting stage. We are monitoring country by country, and football must follow the orders of the individual countries.

"The sporting path will only be closed if the situation gets worse."
