Sergio Aguero has broken his silence following the Barcelona's striker diagnosis with arrhythmia, with a heartfelt message on Barcelona's Twitter page.
Aguero complained of dizziness and chest pains before being substituted in the first half of Barcelona's clash with Alvares on Saturday evening.
The 34-year-old spent Sunday and Monday in hospital, before Barcelona revealed the extent of Aguero's chest pains in a statement.
The Catalan side revealed that the Argentine attacker will be out of action for three months as he recuperates.
And Aguero, himself, has now broken his silence following the incident with a heartfelt message on Barca's Twitter page.
"Hey Culers! Sending you all a big hug," Aguero said in the video posted to Barcelona's social media.
"Thank you for all the messages of support. Now it's time to recover and wait for more news. Sending you all a big hug."
Barcelona confirmed in a statement that Aguero will miss three months of action: "Sergio Aguero has been subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr Josep Brugada," the statement read.
"He is unavailable for selection and during the next three months the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process."
Memphis Depay's strike early in the second half wasn't enough for the three points, and the Catalan side only managed a point against Alvares.
Barcelona are now ninth, equal on points with tenth placed Valencia.
